Hi there, my name is Maria Asusena, I’m an entrepreneur, enthusiast of all things beauty, makeup, hair, fashion and education. I was born to Mexican parents in California, who have always encouraged me to pursue my dreams.

I began taking acting and runway classes when I was 12 years old, and since then, I’ve never looked back. At age 22, I received my first makeup certification, after completing courses in skin therapy, beauty, and cosmetics. However, knowing the worth of education and being naturally aspiring and hardworking, I didn’t stop at modeling and makeup – I also chose another field for myself: entrepreneurship. Along with running this blog, I continue to help manage my family's business, while studying towards a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Marketing at a private university in California.

One of my biggest dreams in life has been to make an impact on people – helping others feel worthy, to make them feel beautiful, and influence my generation to feel good and do good. I started this website as a channel to accomplish this dream, because over the years, I became a fashion and beauty advisor to my friends and family, always answering beauty and fashion related questions and making recommendations. I strive to bring you the best in latest products, cosmetic products, styling, trying new trends, reviews, DIY, travel destinations, restaurants, and new designs. I aim to influence my audience, helping them feel self-confident and amazing!
